I adore my new ukulele from Sparrow. The craftsmanship is absolutely top notch—it’s the steel string uke I’ve been dreaming of, and I have tried quite a few and been disappointed by every one. The clean tone is superb, and can be dialed in to sound like a humbucker guitar or an amplified ukulele, but through a Rat into my AC30, the rich, harmonic gain and distortion rivals a Les Paul, or in single coil mode (this instrument has a lot of tonal range) a Strat. So much sustain. It’s perfect.

I collect ukuleles and this is definitely a keeper! Great tone and sustain. Setup and Intonation is spot on. Great service with prompt shipping. I’m going to keep an eye out for future Sparrow offerings.
